Sarah Y.

Sarah was born and raised in Hawai'i, which started her love for all things outdoors. This passion grew when she moved to the mainland in 2010 for work and educational opportunities. When Sarah got her first dog, Rogue the retired racing greyhound, she started hiking with him and the rest is history! During 2020 she started training Jyn, the terrier extraordinaire, to follow in Rogue's paw prints as a trail dog. They started their backpacking journey together and couldn't get enough! Sarah is proud to be representing other queer women of color out on the trails.
