Howdy! This winter I will be embarking on my first thru hike following New Zealand’s Te Araroa trail. Most of my previous experience comes from years of backpacking in the Minnesota Northwoods. However, the American southwest holds a special place in my heart. I’m very proud to call the Grand Canyon my home away from home. Some of my favorite trail activities include: yapping, looking around, and shrugging when things go awry. This journey is going to be a long one so please, tune in!
